Write and record your own song to take home with you
This is a small course with a maximum of 5 students, there is space for 1 drummer,
2 guitarists, 1 bassist and 1 piano student. Students will be encouraged to sing too
but it is not compulsory. Students must be a minimum of Grade 2 standard.
Suitable for ages 11-13. If there is enough interest we can look in to adding in ages
9-11 and 14-16.
The first day will be based around learning different songwriting approaches,
structures and tips/tricks. Then starting to form some ideas on your instruments which
will then be formed in to the foundation of a song.
The second day will be workshopping the song ideas with your band, and adjusting,
embellishing, and forming the full structure of the song. There will also be a lyric
writing workshop where you will work on lyrics as a group, exploring different themes
and approaches to writing.
The final day will be spent fixing and adjusting any parts, then
recording them which will then be mixed and mastered and
shared with students after the course has finished.

£150 for the 3 day course, we ask for a £40 deposit upon booking with remaining £110 due before the start of the course.

3 DAY SUMMER ROCK BAND COURSE
A 3 day summer course for ages 8-16. All musical abilities welcome from near beginner to experienced. Learn to play or improve your guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and singing skills with our 3 day workshop. Students must have had lessons previously and is not suitable for complete beginners.
On the course you will form a band with others of the same ability and working alongside our tutors you will learn how to rock out some well known songs!
Our specially selected tutors will be organising you in to your own band and working with you to develop your chosen instrument. Students can also select a second (or even third) instrument to work on during the course. On the last day a full performance will take place where you can show off your new skills to parents, family and friends who are all welcome to come and watch.
During the 3 day course you will-
